Not trying to hi-jack the thread but SBG hows the whole surgery process going? I remember a while back you had mentioned something about it. I was going to have it done but I didn't.. I have this horrible fear of surgery and not waking up from it.. Seriously, I worry all the time so this was certainly one of my fears. I freaked out when I had to have a c-section and wondered if I would ever hold my baby.
I really need to work on the worrying thing... I wish you the best though and hope it goes great,I know it is a lengthy process just to be able to get the surgery.

    Re: How do you guys?

I'm just getting started. I have to go to a Weight Loss Introduction program on Mar 4 (I think it's the 4th LoL). Then I have a consult with the surgeon. If that goes well it'll be on to psychological evaluation, sleepiness evaluation, attending at least 1 bariatric surgery support group meeting, exercise nutrition & pre-op education, and individual nutritional evaluation. I may even have to get a gallbladder ultrasound. I'm not sure the if the surgeon I'm going to will require that part or not. If all gose well then I get medical clearance and set the date. There's a lot more to it than I expected.

As for the worrying I do very little about anything other than the health and well being of those closet to me. But I find your fear of surgery similar to one I had. While I was working in Norton over the past 9 yrs I of course had to drive up and down the 4 lane between there and BSG. Well everybody and their uncle is probably aware of how the fog can get at the top of the mountain. I can get especially disoriented by extremely thick fog. My irrational fear was that one day/night I would be driving in that fog and be unaware that the bridge had fallen and I would just drive right down into the leftover open space and wind up dead. Silly really when you think about it. I told my dad and he said, "If it's your time to go there's nothing you can do about. So put the pedal to the metal and keep on trucking." He also assured me there was not much of a chance of it happening. But I know he meant it. Keep on trucking. That's what he does. Through all the cancer and tumors he's just trucked on along. So don't let fear and worry get the best of ya.

    Re: How do you guys?

haha yall are soo busy, my day is nothing compared to yours.

I get up around 1-2 PM, get dressed, etc..
from 2-5 or 6, I write. Nothing in particular, just write.
I eat with mom and dad around 6, watch TV until like 10, play MW2 until like 1:30, watch my name is earl and malcom in the middle, king of the hill, family guy, then law and order SVU at 4 am, then Reno 911! at 5, then go to sleep.

what stresses me out the most?
worrying that my writing is not as good as I think it is.

    what frustrates me?
    people in general
